The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21

The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax organized a travelling exhibit detailing over 150 years of the immigration experience, in an exhibit called "Canada: Day One". The Design Foundation worked with Lord Cultural Services to design the media, and Kubik Maltbie to produce the final digital media components. They are comprised of a seven minute introductory movie, an auditory interactive which allows visitors to hear stories of immigrant experiences while examining artefacts, a touch screen interactive which allows a guest to view immigrant stories based on different themes, and a final interactive which allows visitors to listen to immagrant stories of integration within the Canadian landscape.
